Job summary

Dine Brands Global, based in Pasadena, is seeking a Director of Team Member Relations to lead employee relations and strategic HR for designated business groups. The role partners with leaders to translate business objectives into people strategies, drive culture change, support succession planning, and strengthen leadership capability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience focusing on employee relations and investigations.
• Deep knowledge of federal and California employment law.
• Broad experience in talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Strong advisory skills for senior leaders during organizational change.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive improvements.
• Restaurant/retail/hospitality experience preferred; franchise experience a plus.
• BS in business or HR management; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into people strategies that leverage the organization’s strengths and drive culture change.
• Advise leaders on employee relations and risk mitigation with strategic HR guidance.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, policy interpretation, and performance management.
• Coach leaders on difficult conversations and documentation to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
• Lead talent review, succession planning, and organizational development processes.
• Drive enterprise improvements in HR programs, policies, and processes.
• Manage employee relations programs to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
