Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Director of Programs (ES/MS) to lead after-school initiatives from its San Diego office. You will supervise Regional Managers and Site Coordinators, guide program quality, and manage significant budgets while working with school districts.

The role requires at least five years in extended learning or after-school programs, excellent communication, and a talent for growing enrollment through community partnerships and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing multiple school sites.
• Willingness to travel locally (Southern California) for site visits and training.
• Pass Live Scan background check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Regional Managers and Site Coordinators at after-school sites (public, charter, private).
• Ensure ADA targets are met or exceeded; design plans to improve program quality and enrollment.
• Identify and develop emerging leaders and coaches for performance.
• Serve as liaison with school/district administrators; maintain relationships to retain business.
• Streamline operations and improve scalability; support long-term strategic growth.
• Generate new business opportunities through community networking and client relations.
• Develop partnerships with community vendors for enrichment across sites.
• Manage site budgets; monitor expenses monthly with Regional Managers and Site Coordinators.
• Oversee staff training and development; ensure compliance and record-keeping.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports; provide ongoing staff development.
