Job summary

Paycom - ATS in New York is seeking a part-time after-school program supervisor to oversee daily operations, design engaging activities, and maintain attendance and records while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising and training staff, budget oversight, collaboration with families and schools, and reporting outcomes. A Bachelor’s in Education/ Psychology or 60 college credits plus the SACC credential and prior supervision are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Child Development.
• Or 60 college credit hours in Sociology, Humanities, or Liberal Arts.
• Must have the School-Age Care Credential (SACC).
• Three (3) years’ experience in supervision and after-school programming.
• Two (2) years’ experience monitoring a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant and operating a SACC-licensed program.
• Strong leadership, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement daily program activities and curriculum, focusing on student enrichment, education, and development.
• Communicate with parents, school personnel, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Manage program budget and resources to meet the specific needs and interests of the students and community.
• Monitor operations to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Ensure programs adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations as well as organizations policies and procedures.
• Communicate regularly with families and school personnel to build positive relationships, share information, and promote program involvement.
• Maintains all student attendance and activity records.
• Collaborate with other staff and community organizations to enhance programs and activities.
• Assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate program staff and volunteers, ensuring high-quality instructions and adherence to program goals.
• Complete and maintain records for all required trainings through OCFS and the Youth Services Department
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete records, documentation, and reports in accordance with program, agency, and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Child Development
