Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking an Electro-Optical Validation Director to lead validation of next-generation silicon-photonics modules for quantum computing. You will define global validation strategy from concept proof to high-volume manufacturing, directing a team through test, analysis, and reporting to ensure product readiness and robust reliability.

The role requires guiding multidisciplinary teams, aligning with engineering, firmware, and software, and maintaining tight schedules while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of industry experience in validating and testing optical systems.
• 5+ years of team and people management experience (director level preferred).
• Proven record of leading validation and failure analysis of high-speed EO hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive characterization, verification and validation plans for electro-optical multiplexer and switch.
• Manage validation team, including technical oversight, project and people management.
• Lead the validation effort: supervise measurements, deliver reports, and drive Failure Analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor milestones and communicate impact of delays with the operation team.
• Review hardware designs to define testability and key parameters for validation.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to feed learning for next-gen products.
