Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a leader to validate one or more fully integrated quantum subsystems, spanning photonic, optic, cryogenic, electronic, electro‑optical, firmware, and software aspects.

You will plan and execute design validation testing, develop automated self-test functions, and create novel quantum characterization, verification, and validation techniques for photonic qubit states.

Qualifications

• Lead complex projects integrating optical and electronic hardware, firmware, software.
• Experience with quantum optics, single-photon generation and detection.
• Experience in integrated silicon photonics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across teams and sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation team with technical oversight, project management, talent management, performance evaluations, and coaching.
• Develop validation and verification plans, and execute to deliver on objectives within schedule.
• Plan and execute system integration tests across hardware, firmware, software.
• Define and validate quantum tests and calibration/self-test functions for the subsystem.
• Provide cross-functional support to other engineering teams on design-for-test and data processing.
• Lead the assessment of the subsystem’s in situ performance within a larger system.
