Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions, a leader in engineering for electric utilities, seeks a Director of Power Generation - Electrical to guide the electrical engineering practice for conventional, renewable, distributed generation, and microgrid projects. You will lead design, studies, and construction documents while ensuring NEC/NERC compliance and high-quality deliverables.

The role demands PE licensure, 10–15+ years of electrical power experience, and 5+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• PE license in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10–15+ years of electrical engineering experience in power generation facilities.
• Lead electrical engineer on generation facility projects.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the power generation engineering department.
• Oversee electrical engineering design for power generation facilities.
• Serve as PE of Record for electrical engineering deliverables.
• Mentor engineers, planners, and designers in the department.
• Support business development and client engagement.
