Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions seeks a Director of Power Generation - Mechanical to lead the mechanical engineering practice for conventional, renewable, distributed generation, and microgrid facilities. You will oversee design, QA, and adherence to industry codes while serving as PE of Record and engaging with utility and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10–15+ years mechanical engineering experience in power generation.
• 10+ years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience as lead mechanical engineer on power projects.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Multi-state licensure via comity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering for power generation facilities.
• Serve as PE of Record for mechanical deliverables.
• Oversee design of boilers, HRSGs, turbines, piping, cooling, and fuel systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Mentor staff and support business growth.
• Manage project portfolio, schedule, and budget.
