Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions in the United States is seeking a Senior Power Generation Engineer to guide the growth and technical excellence of the power generation practice. You will oversee projects, mentor staff, and engage with electric utilities, with responsibility as Engineer of Record when required. Candidates should have a PE license, 10+ years in power systems, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and experience with coal-fired and natural gas plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a power systems emphasis.
• 10+ years of power systems engineering experience.
• PE license required; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Experience leading engineering teams and projects.
• Experience with coal-fired and natural gas plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead power generation projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and enforce safety/standards.
• Mentor staff and engage with clients for business development.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when required.
• Develop strategies for grid modernization and renewable integration.
