Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions Corp. in Kansas is seeking a Senior Power Generation Engineer to lead the power generation engineering practice, guiding technical excellence and project delivery for utility clients.

You will mentor staff, engage with clients, contribute to business development, and ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, NFPA, ISO, OSHA while managing complex coal-fired and natural gas generation projects.

Qualifications

10+ years in power systems engineering.
4+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering teams or projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee power generation projects to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
Provide technical leadership and oversight for complex engineering studies, drawings, and specs.
Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) when required and ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, NFPA, ISO, OSHA, and other standards.
Drive business development through client engagement, proposals, scoping, and presentations for new work.
Mentor and coordinate engineering staff to sustain technical excellence and growth.
