Duke Energy seeks a Director to lead PGO's health and safety program, CAP and HP initiatives, providing strategic direction and governance. The role oversees EHS-related leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with regulators and internal stakeholders.

You will work with business unit leaders to reduce risk, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements while supporting enterprise operational excellence.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in health and safety, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience; in lieu of degree, 15+ years of related experience.
• Certified safety professional and professional engineer credentials preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead health and safety, CAP, and HP programs across PGO; oversee governance and senior leadership engagement.
• Direct supervision of EHS, CAP, and HP program managers and staff with strategic planning and budgeting.
• Partner with business units to reduce risk and promote event-free operations and effective regulatory interactions.
• Support senior management with planning, decision-making, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
