Duke Energy seeks a seasoned EHS leader to direct health and safety, CAP and Human Performance programs across multiple locations. You will oversee senior teams, partner with business units, and influence internal and external stakeholders to promote event-free operations.

Responsibilities include governance, strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while driving cost-effective and safe operations across Duke Energy’s regions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of degree, 15+ years of related experience with HS/GED.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop strategic responses; relate to regulatory requirements.
• Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders and leadership presence.

Responsabilidades

• Direct identification and analysis of health and safety, HP and CAP issues; develop action plans with business units.
• Lead and manage EHS/CAP/HP programs and responsibilities; mentor managers and leaders.
• Collaborate with regulators and internal teams to ensure compliance and effective delivery of EHS/HP support.
• Support senior management in planning, decision-making, and communication of operational needs.
