Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Director to lead PGO health and safety, CAP and human performance programs, providing senior leadership, governance, and strategic direction across EHS, CAP and HP. You will oversee management roles, coordinate with internal customers and external agencies to promote a safe, event-free culture.

The role requires strong communication and influence across Duke Energy groups, regulatory bodies, Legal, Audit and External Relations.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of degree, High School/GED and 15+ years of related experience

Responsabilidades

• Direct identification and analysis of health and safety, HP and CAP issues and risks; develop action plans with business units; lead EHS/HP/ CAP programs and governance.
• Mentor managers, supervisors and key contributors; manage performance and budgeting within the department.
• Interact with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA) and Legal Counsel on EHS matters to support compliance.
