Job summary

Tarrant County College seeks a Director of Educational Partnerships to lead development and execution of partnerships across K–12, higher education, and workforce systems. You will build and sustain strategic relationships, drive collaboration, and ensure programs align with institutional goals and community needs.

The role focuses on expanding student access, success, and program effectiveness through coordinated partnerships with districts, colleges, employers, and community organizations,

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related to the essential performance requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Three (3) years of experience supervising direct reports, including assigning work, managing performance, coaching employees, and supporting employee development
  • At least one year’s working experience in college/university setting related to the essential performance requirements, and experience engaging with K-12 schools or workforce initiatives (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with campus and district leadership to develop, implement, evaluate, and report on educational partnerships programs and initiatives
  • Develops strategies and partnerships that support the continuum of education from K–12 through higher education and workforce pathways
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with school districts, higher education institutions, employers, and community organizations
  • Oversees implementation of outreach and partnership initiatives that support student access, success, and college readiness
  • Ensures partnership programs align with institutional goals, policies, and accreditation requirements
  • Collaborates with academic affairs and student services to support enrollment, registration, and student success initiatives
  • Coordinates implementation of partnership-related policies, processes, and program requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitors program effectiveness, analyzes outcomes, and supports continuous improvement efforts
  • Coordinates partnership activities, events, and communications across campus and with external partners
  • Represents the College in external meetings, committees, and community organizations
  • Supports compliance reporting and coordination with institutional effectiveness and accreditation functions

Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the development and executionof educational partnerships that support pathways across K–12,higher education, and workforce systems. The position establishesand maintains strategic relationships and drives collaboration toenhance student access, success, and program effectiveness. Therole ensures partnership initiatives align with institutional goalsand evolving community needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Performance Requirements

  • Collaborates with campus and district leadership to develop,implement, evaluate, and report on educational partnershipsprograms and initiatives
  • Develops strategies and partnerships that support the continuumof education from K–12 through higher education and workforcepathways
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with school districts,higher education institutions, employers, and communityorganizations

General Supervision and Management

  • Provides leadership and oversight for departmental activities,including workforce planning, performance management, processimprovement, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Focuses on achieving departmental and organizational objectivesthrough effective management of people, programs, andoperations.
  • Leads through supervisors and professional staff by establishingpriorities, supporting accountability, and developing teamperformance.

Service Excellence

  • Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
  • Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege

Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned campus leader

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related tothe essential performance requirements; or any equivalentcombination of education and work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience in a college oruniversity setting related to the Essential PerformanceRequirements
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience teaching or trainingwith K-12 schools
  • At least one (1) year's working experience developing,delivering, or supporting online education outside of temporaryemergency remote instruction
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of educational partnerships, outreach practices, andhigher education and K–12 systems
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, program evaluation, andcontinuous improvement practices
  • Knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and accreditationrequirements
  • Skilled in developing and implementing partnership programs andinitiatives
  • Skilled in analyzing data and evaluating programeffectiveness
  • Skilled in using enterprise systems, reporting tools, andstandard office software
  • Ability to build and sustain strategic relationships withinternal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-makingacross diverse groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in adynamic environment
  • Ability to think critically and develop solutions to complexchallenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and withexternal partners
