Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus seeks a Director, Educational Partnerships to lead development and execution of partnerships across K–12, higher education, and workforce systems. The role builds strategic relationships and drives collaboration to improve student access, success, and program effectiveness.

This full-time, on-site position reports to Academic Affairs and requires a Master’s degree with senior-level partnership experience.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and five years’ working experience related to the essential performance requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Three years of experience supervising direct reports, including assigning work, managing performance, coaching employees, and supporting employee development

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with campus and district leadership to develop, implement, evaluate, and report on educational partnerships programs and initiatives
  • Develops strategies and partnerships that support the continuum of education from K–12 through higher education and workforce pathways
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with school districts, higher education institutions, employers, and community organizations
  • Oversees implementation of outreach and partnership initiatives that support student access, success, and college readiness
  • Ensures partnership programs align with institutional goals, policies, and accreditation requirements
  • Collaborates with academic affairs and student services to support enrollment, registration, and student success initiatives
  • Coordinates implementation of partnership-related policies, processes, and program requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitors program effectiveness, analyzes outcomes, and supports continuous improvement efforts
  • Coordinates partnership activities, events, and communications across campus and with external partners
  • Represents the College in external meetings, committees, and community organizations
  • Supports compliance reporting and coordination with institutional effectiveness and accreditation functions

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of educational partnerships that support pathways across K–12,higher education, and workforce systems. The position establishes and maintains strategic relationships and drives collaboration to enhance student access, success, and program effectiveness. The role ensures partnership initiatives align with institutional goals and evolving community needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements
  • Collaborates with campus and district leadership to develop,implement, evaluate, and report on educational partnershipsprograms and initiatives
  • Develops strategies and partnerships that support the continuumof education from K–12 through higher education and workforcepathways

General Supervision and Management
  • Provides leadership and oversight for departmental activities,including workforce planning, performance management, processimprovement, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Focuses on achieving departmental and organizational objectivesthrough effective management of people, programs, andoperations.
  • Leads through supervisors and professional staff by establishingpriorities, supporting accountability, and developing teamperformance.
Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege
Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned campus leader

Performs Other Related Tasks as Required

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related tothe essential performance requirements; or any equivalentcombination of education and work-related experience
  • Three (3) years of experience supervising direct reports,including assigning work, managing performance, coaching employees,and supporting employee development
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience in a college oruniversity setting related to the Essential PerformanceRequirements
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience teaching or trainingwith K-12 schools
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience with developing,preparing, and supporting memorandums of understanding and/oragreements
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience with data-sharingpractices and compliance with the Family Educational Rights andPrivacy Act (FERPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of educational partnerships, outreach practices, andhigher education and K–12 systems
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, program evaluation, andcontinuous improvement practices
  • Knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and accreditationrequirements
  • Skilled in developing and implementing partnership programs andinitiatives
  • Skilled in analyzing data and evaluating programeffectiveness
  • Skilled in using enterprise systems, reporting tools, andstandard office software
  • Ability to build and sustain strategic relationships withinternal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-makingacross diverse groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in adynamic environment
