Job summary

Doodle Labs is seeking a Director of U.S. Government Sales & Business Development to lead DoD engagements across air, ground, and maritime unmanned platforms. You will identify opportunities, shape requirements, and build essential relationships with program offices and S&T divisions.

You will coordinate proposals, briefings, and field demonstrations, while staying current on modernization initiatives and strategic DoD directions, traveling ~30–50% for engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DoD-focused BD, capture management, or program management.
• Established relationships within DoD unmanned systems communities.
• Familiarity with JCIDS, DAS, PPBE, OTA processes.
• Ability to shape requirements in RFIs, BAAs, and RFPs for DoD tech.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active US Secret clearance or eligibility.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate DoD unmanned systems opportunities across Army, Navy, USAF, USMC, and SOCOM.
• Build direct relationships with program managers, requirements officers, and R&D offices.
• Engage with DARPA, DIU, ARL/AFRL/ONR programs for autonomous systems.
• Shape procurement language in BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs to reflect mesh networking capabilities.
• Manage BD pipeline in HubSpot and provide governance reporting.
• Lead government-facing proposals, white papers, and briefings.
