Merck is seeking a Director of Digital Tech Transfer & Knowledge Management to shape the future of our biopharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities. You will define strategies, build a roadmap, and lead a multi-disciplinary team to create data-driven, compliant digital solutions for tech transfer across our global network.

You will oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, align with S&T, Research, and IT, and drive integration of MES, LIMS, and other systems to deliver an integrated PKM ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field and 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical technology transfer, receiving-site readiness, data preparedness, and handover.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, data-intensive digital products.
• Strong leadership of technical and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication to align senior leaders and experts.
• Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical processes, data and control systems.
• Experience implementing AI in regulated environments with governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and roadmap for Digital Tech Transfer and PKM aligned to business goals.
• Lead a team of product analysts and specialists to execute strategy with excellence.
• Oversee lifecycle of digital manufacturing products from concept to deployment and improvement.
• Liaise with S&T, Research, Commercialization, and IT to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Drive data integration across MES, LIMS, and control systems for a unified PKM ecosystem.
• Champion data integrity and governance for reliable, inspection-ready data.
• Manage backlogs, prioritize features by value, report progress to executives.
• Ensure solutions comply with GxP and internal quality standards.
• Partner with CMOs to digitise tech transfer and standardise data exchanges.
