Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director of Digital Tech Transfer & Knowledge Management to shape the future of our manufacturing capabilities.

You will define strategy, develop roadmaps, and drive execution of PKM initiatives across a multidisciplinary team to enable integrated, data-driven tech transfer. The role requires overseeing end-to-end digital manufacturing products, aligning with S&T, Research, Commercialization, and IT, and ensuring compliance with GxP and internal standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical tech transfer and site readiness including data preparation and handover.
• Experience delivering large-scale, data-intensive digital products in a product/program leadership role.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with ability to influence senior leaders and technical experts.
• Deep knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and data/control systems (MES, DeltaV, PKM, Databricks, SCADA, PI).
• Proven ability to implement and scale AI solutions in highly regulated environments with governance and security controls.

• Define and champion the product vision and strategic roadmap for Digital Tech Transfer and PKM.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing multi-disciplinary team.
• Oversee lifecycle of digital manufacturing products from concept to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate between S&T, Research, Commercialization, manufacturing and IT to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Drive integration of data sources (MES, LIMS, process control systems) for a cohesive PKM ecosystem.
• Ensure data integrity and governance for reliable, inspection-ready process data.
• Manage the product backlog and communicate progress to executives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GxP) and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with CMOs to digitise tech transfer and standardize data exchanges.
