CVS Health Digital seeks a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to own customer identity platforms and services, steering strategy, modernization, delivery, and operations. You will lead teams across authentication, profile management, and integrations, shaping scalable, secure experiences for millions of customers across CVS Health ecosystems.

The role partners with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to advance modernization, improve security, and drive enterprise growth.

Qualifications

10+ years in software or platform engineering, CIAM or related tech fields.
7+ years in people leadership including engineering managers.
Experience defining technology strategy and multi-year modernization plans.
5+ years driving cloud-native transformations and API-first architectures.
Strong CIAM, authentication, authorization, profile services knowledge.
Experience with budgets, vendor partnerships and investments.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-team engineering org for authentication, profile management and identity integrations.
Advise on scalable cloud-native, API-first architecture and secure user experiences.
Drive AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies in identity.
Identify and manage risks; coordinate cross-workstream dependencies.
Deliver End-to-End program plans and timely status reporting.
Report program status to stakeholders and drive metrics for success.
Foster relationships with business, product, tech and vendors to enable roadmap.
