About the Role

This is your chance to join our Development team, which plays a significant role in Hilton's growth strategy by adding new hotels to our expanding portfolio. As a Director of Development, you will partner with owners and investors to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate, leveraging our global expertise to develop one of the leading brands in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the VP Managing Director Development Southeast, you will focus on expanding our Spark and LivSmart footprint in the Southeast region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
  • Define and execute development strategies for Spark and LivSmart in the Southeast, collaborating with leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, industry partners, and local authorities to identify and develop opportunities.
  • Assess and prioritize development projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic goals.
  • Negotiate and execute deals for managed and franchised hotels, coordinating with stakeholders.
Collaboration:
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to execute deals efficiently.
  • Coordinate with departments like Legal, Feasibility, and Brand to streamline development processes.
Project Ownership:
  • Oversee development projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth handovers.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • 7+ years in Hospitality, Franchise, or Real Estate Sales
  • 3+ years in B2B Client Management/Sales
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
  • Experience negotiating complex hotel agreements
  • Knowledge of financial analysis including NPV and IRR

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000, based on experience and location. Eligible for bonuses and incentives. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and more. Details at benefits link.
