Job Overview

Join our Development team to play a key role in Hilton's growth strategy through expanding our hotel portfolio. As a Director of Development, you will collaborate with owners and investors to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate, leveraging our global expertise to develop a leading brand in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the VP Managing Director Development Southeast, your focus will be on expanding our Spark and LivSmart footprint in the Southeastern US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute development strategies for the Southeast region.
  • Build relationships with owners, industry partners, and local authorities to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize development projects, managing risks proactively.
  • Negotiate and execute deals aligned with brand standards and stakeholder interests.
Collaboration
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to execute deals following corporate standards and approvals.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Feasibility, Brand, Owner Relations, and other departments to streamline development processes.
Ownership of Projects

Oversee development opportunities from inception to completion, ensuring smooth handover to Technical Services and Operations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years in Hospitality, Franchise, or Real Estate Sales.
  • At least 3 years in B2B Client Management/Sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, experience negotiating high-value hotel agreements, and financial analysis skills.

Compensation and Additional Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000, based on experience and location. Eligible for bonus and incentive plans. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, holidays, and various employee assistance programs.
