Job summary

OpenLoop, a telehealth solutions company, seeks a Director of Demand & Supply Planning to stand up the planning cadence and discipline across the Pharmacy Operations & Supply Chain function. You will own S&OP, forecast accuracy, capacity, and allocation for dietary supplements and other non-prescription products through third-party manufacturers.

You will oversee a planning team, partner with Product on tooling, and drive inventory optimization with Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in supply chain, demand & supply planning, or operations.
• 3+ years leading teams - managing managers or leads.
• Built an S&OP or demand-planning cadence from scratch.
• Deep demand & supply planning: translating forecasts into capacity and sourcing.
• Experience planning dietary supplements or batch-manufactured consumer products via third-party manufacturers.
• Proven success scaling a high-volume operation.
• Strong analytics and modeling; able to defend forecast to a finance audience.
• Experience owning inventory and cost outcomes in partnership with Finance.
• Comfort partnering with Product on planning tooling and data.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and influence without authority.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, flat-structure environment with many priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the S&OP/demand-planning cadence.
• Own forecast accuracy as an outcome and translate projections into capacity needs.
• Forecast supplement demand by SKU, flavor, partner, and channel.
• Turn forecast into partner-ready visibility for production planning and procurement.
• Maintain planning timelines for ingredients, packaging, and lead times.
• Own volume allocation strategy across the network to balance cost and capacity.
• Own inventory optimization and cost management with Finance.
• Establish replenishment plans and safety-stock targets.
