Job summary

OpenLoop is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Operations in the United States to own the execution engine of pharmacy operations from formulary configuration to 50-state fulfillment. You will lead Systems & Formulary and Network & Fulfillment Operations, partnering with Product daily to replace manual workarounds with scalable infrastructure.

You will Harden processes, close documentation gaps, and drive SLAs while expanding the partner network and ensuring regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in operations, fulfillment, systems, or pharmacy operations, including 4+ years leading teams — managing managers or leads, not only individual contributors.
• Proven people leadership across disciplines: has led both analytical/systems and operational or vendor-facing teams, hired and built out a team, and managed performance directly.
• Demonstrated success scaling a high-volume operations or fulfillment function through a period of rapid growth.
• Demonstrated partnership with Product or Engineering on operational tooling — able to specify requirements, sit in prioritization, make scope tradeoffs, and validate what ships, not just submit tickets.

Responsibilities

• Own Systems & Formulary. Configure medication order flows, SKU/formulary builds, and state routing across platforms.
• Own Network & Fulfillment Operations. Manage partner network and end-to-end order fulfilment.
• Own service levels and routing outcomes. Drive SLAs and redesign exception handling to avoid backlog.
• Partner with Product and Engineering daily to translate problems into scalable tooling.
• Harden and rebuild pharmacy operational processes for scale without interrupting growth.
• Close the documentation gap and build self-serve reference infrastructure.
• Own operational readiness for new products and formulations with clinical partners.
• Partner with Quality & Compliance on audit readiness and regulatory scrutiny.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and hire/coach, minimizing key-person risk.
• Champion automation and technology to streamline workflows and data capture.
• Other duties as assigned.
