Job summary

Tolmar is seeking a Director of Sales & Operations Planning to lead S&OP/S&OE, aligning demand, supply, inventory, capacity, lifecycle, and financial plans in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

You will partner with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Supply Chain to translate priorities into executable plans and ensure reliable patient supply while managing regulatory requirements and lifecycle constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Twelve or more years in supply chain/production planning with multi‑product manufacturing experience.
• Five or more years leading S&OP, S&OE or IBP processes with cross‑functional influence.
• Experience in regulated/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (GMP, quality release).
• Demonstrated collaboration with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
• Advanced ERP/MRP, planning, analytics or BI tools experience; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end S&OP and S&OE process across the organization.
• Facilitate executive S&OP meetings; drive decision making and execution.
• Coordinate demand and supply planning with cross‑functional teams; balance supply/demand and financial goals.
• Develop alternate scenarios (‘what‑if’) and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Own continuous improvement of the S&OP process with stakeholder feedback.
