Job summary

OpenLoop is seeking a Director of Demand & Supply Planning to build and own the S&OP cadence, forecast accuracy, and inventory optimization across a 20+ partner network. You will define authoritative inputs and manage capacity, allocation, and cost, partnering with Finance and Product to scale planning tools.

You will lead a small team, mentor managers, and drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment where cadence and data-driven decisions are critical to sustaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in supply chain, demand & supply planning, or operations with 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record building an S&OP or demand-planning cadence from scratch.
• Strong ability to translate forecasts into capacity, production, and sourcing requirements.
• Experience scaling high-volume operations in healthcare/pharmacy or regulated industries.
• Excellent analytics and modeling; communicate assumptions to finance.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the S&OP and demand-planning cadence.
• Own forecast accuracy as an outcome and drive capacity and sourcing needs.
• Turn forecast data into partner-ready visibility for sites and procurement.
• Manage volume allocation across the network balancing capacity and cost.
• Oversee inventory optimization and cost management with Finance.
• Lead and develop the planning team, hiring and mentoring.
• Identify and mitigate demand/supply-continuity risk.
• Partner with Product on planning tooling and underlying data.
• Document planning cadences and models in systems.
