Job summary

Paraform is seeking a Director of Demand Sales in San Francisco to own new business end-to-end, guiding an A-team of account executives and building a scalable outbound motion from scratch. You’ll design segmentation and upmarket coverage, promote from within, install social-selling with VC referrals, and collaborate with marketing and product to shape multi-product go-to-market.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in sales with four-plus years leading, and visible progression through them.
• You've managed managers, or you're unambiguously ready to.
• Network-led outbound you've personally owned.
• You've built a playbook from scratch, run it yourself, and handed it to a team.
• Strong analytical instincts.
• Genuine curiosity about our model.
• Something non-linear in your background.

Responsibilities

• Own new business end to end. Pipeline generation, deal execution, and attainment across the AE team.
• Design the org, not just the team. Segment, vertical coverage, headcount plan, upmarket strategy.
• Build the second line. Promote from within, hire externally, have managers reporting within 2–3 quarters.
• Install the social-selling motion. Create VC-referral loops, dinner programs, and conference presence.
• Take us upmarket. Shift to longer accounts with revenue sharing for strategic targets.
• Partner across the business. Work with marketing, engagement management, and product on go-to-market.
