Job summary

EY-Parthenon’s Deal Technology practice delivers IT-focused advisory across complex transactions. As a Director you will shape IT strategy for deals, manage end-to-end engagements, and drive value through integration and separation planning.

You will lead diverse client teams, develop business cases, and apply AI-enabled approaches to improve outcomes, while navigating fast-paced environments and travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
• MBA is preferred.
• Significant management consulting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
• The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the following IT skillsets: IT strategy, Enterprise architecture, Infrastructure and cloud architecture, Cyber and IAM architecture, Digital Technology Strategy, IT operating model transformation, ERP implementation, AI / analytics enablement, Cloud strategy, IAM/AD services, IT service management, and more.
• Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT transaction strategies across sectors.
• Lead pre-deal and post-deal engagement work including integration planning and separation planning.
• Provide commercial mindset to drive value for clients and deliver outcomes.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to practice development initiatives.
• Leverage AI tools and firm-approved technology in client engagements.
