Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Director of Direct-to-Consumer Final Mile Logistics to own end-to-end last-mile delivery and in-home service strategy across D2C channels.

You will lead carrier partnerships, design scalable service models, and optimize cost, service levels, and customer outcomes. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in final mile, transportation, supply chain, or e-commerce logistics.
• Proven experience negotiating carrier and vendor contracts.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with engineering/fulfillment teams.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to travel 25% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end final-mile delivery and in-home services strategy for D2C channels.
• Design and scale delivery and service models (next-day delivery, premium in-home services).
• Establish service standards, operating models, and performance benchmarks.
• Lead contract negotiations with carriers, service providers, and gig platforms; manage SLAs and penalties.
• Develop rate proposals and pricing models to ensure competitive economics.
• Identify and launch new service offerings differentiating the D2C experience.
• Manage vendor performance and quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Product/IT on system requirements and roadmaps.
• Own capacity planning, network design, and surge capacity strategies.
• Oversee end-to-end reverse logistics and returns processing.
• Define and manage white glove installation and haul-away services.
