Job summary

Celestica, Richardson, TX, seeks a Director of the CRT3 Technology CoE to stand up and run POC and NPI lines. You will lead the Richardson Technology CoE, turning customer architectures into proven processes and guiding early build validation and transfer to volume sites.

You will direct pathfinding, technology qualification, and roadmapping activities, partnering with design, supply chain and external vendors to ensure credible EVT readiness and robust manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience specifying, installing, qualifying and running SMT, back-end and test lines or a technology development lab.
• Deep knowledge of SMT and advanced packaging, large BGA and high-speed interconnect, thermal solutions and optics.
• DOE, process window optimization, Cpk, PFMEA and reliability methods.
• Experience with MES, SPC and traceability systems and using build data for yield learning and transfer decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive commissioning and qualification of four Richardson lines: two POC lines in Q1 2027 and two NPI lines in Q2 2027.
• Direct pathfinding sprints to explore novel architectures and tech qualifications for new components.
• Co-validate technology roadmaps ahead of EVT, including breakthrough roadmap technologies.
• Own early build validation on CRT3 lines and generate transfer packages for volume sites.
• Governance via gate reviews and NUDD risk registers to secure EVT/DVT first-pass success.
