Job summary

Mallory Alexander International Logistics is seeking a Regional Director to lead the daily operations of the Laredo office, supervising a 400,000 sq ft warehouse and a team of import/export professionals. This role requires strong leadership, profitability focus, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own the P/L, drive growth with customers and vendors, and partner with global teams to close opportunities, while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7-10 years in international freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of ocean/air shipping and regulatory processes.
• Licensed Customs Broker with Mexican clearance preferred.
• Experience with CargoWise One is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Laredo office and 400,000 sq ft facility.
• Manages P/L and budget to maximize profitability and KPI achievement.
• Leads recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Builds relationships with customers and vendors to grow business.
• Drives sales strategy and new business development.
• Ensures regulatory compliance including Mexican customs procedures.
• Directs warehouse operations and process improvements.
