Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to shape long-term direction, manage enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and partner with executives across the organization. You will lead financial analyses, market assessments, and value-creating opportunities, influencing Board-level decisions.

You will collaborate with commercial, product, and solution leaders to drive growth, perform rigorous diligence, and support strategic transactions in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, or related financial discipline preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic analyses and influencing executive decision-making
• Experience developing and evaluating corporate, solution, and segment-level growth strategies, including market assessment, competitive positioning, customer segmentation, and investment prioritization
• Strategic, financial, and analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, business case development, valuation, market analysis, and investment evaluation
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, or capital allocation decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior executives
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate corporate growth strategies, including market opportunities and enterprise priorities
• Identify and evaluate strategic initiatives aligned with long-term growth objectives
• Lead enterprise-wide strategic assessments and deliver data-driven recommendations on growth and profitability
• Partner with business, product, and segment leaders to develop solution and segment strategies
• Assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities to optimize investment priorities
• Develop Board and Executive Leadership materials with strategic insights
• Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, customers, and trends
• Develop rigorous quantitative analyses and financial models for opportunities and investments
• Support M&A, partnerships, and investment activities with commercial diligence and valuation
• Drive strategic initiatives from ideation through execution to align with priorities
