Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to lead high-impact strategic initiatives and partner with executive leadership to shape long-term growth. This role features ownership of complex analyses, market assessments, and collaboration across commercial, product, and solution teams.

You will develop fact-based recommendations, evaluate investments and potential acquisitions, and drive enterprise value creation while influencing key strategic decisions at the board level.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, or related financial discipline.
• Proven ability to lead complex strategic analyses and influence executive decision-making.
• Experience developing and evaluating corporate, solution, and segment-level growth strategies with market assessment.
• Strong strategic, financial, and analytical capabilities including modeling, business case development, valuation, market analysis.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, partnerships, or capital allocation decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior executives.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate near-term and long-term corporate growth strategies and priorities.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and evaluate strategic initiatives.
• Lead enterprise-wide strategic assessments and deliver fact-based recommendations on growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with business, product, and segment leaders on market prioritization and investment recommendations.
• Assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities to optimize investments.
• Prepare Board materials with data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Conduct primary and secondary market research for actionable insights.
• Develop rigorous financial analyses and models for opportunities and investments.
• Support M&A, partnerships, and strategic transactions with diligence and analysis.
• Drive strategic initiatives from ideation through execution aligned to priorities.
