Job summary

El Paso Community College seeks a leader to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate non-credit educational programs within the Division of Continuing Education, Business & Technical Education & Personal Enrichment Programs. This on-campus role requires directing faculty, staff and students while building partnerships with community and state agencies.

The candidate will develop strategic plans, manage budgets, schedule courses, and ensure compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and four (4) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience building educational programs and courses.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the institution including the public.
• Experience leading and managing personnel, including faculty and staff, and delegating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate non-credit programs and courses.
• Provide direction to faculty, staff and students.
• Establish and maintain relationships with business, community, educational institutions and agencies.
• Develop and manage class schedules; hire faculty; promote course offerings.
• Develop budget recommendations and manage approved budget.
• Maintain records and statistics to comply with state licensing and certification requirements.
• Manage activities of assigned staff, including employment recommendations and performance evaluations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
