Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Director, Information Services to lead the Consumer Digital Platform team. You will oversee architecture, cloud-enabled engineering, Sitecore and Azure, and drive AI-native web experiences for patients and internal users.

You’ll manage software developers, data engineers, and architects, partner with vendors like Sitecore and Microsoft, align investments with enterprise goals, and ensure security, reliability, and speed to market across NM's digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 8 years industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, cross-organizational system.
• Healthcare technology background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the architecture, design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure consumer digital platform capabilities across Sitecore, Vercel, Azure, and related integration services.
• Leading software developers, data engineers, and architects in building a modern website, knowledge graph, data services, APIs, and reusable platform components.
• Managing relationships with vendors and strategic partners, including Sitecore, Microsoft, implementation partners and other third parties.
• Maximizing the engagement and productivity of technical teams to achieve objectives for platform modernization, operational excellence, reliability, security, and speed to market.
• Partnering with key stakeholders across NM to align platform investments with consumer experience priorities and enterprise objectives.
