Northwestern Medicine Information Services seeks a Director, Information Services to lead taxonomy/ontology governance powering the knowledge graph and consumer data capabilities across NM.org. You will guide data strategy, content intelligence, and analytics to empower product teams and care model leaders with actionable insights.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in healthcare tech, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate across clinical, analytics, and technology partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of healthcare delivery and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own governance, strategy, and lifecycle management for taxonomy and ontology powering NM.org's knowledge graph and consumer-facing information architecture.
• Lead consumer data and intelligence capabilities linking content, search, journey behavior, and scheduling data into usable insights for product teams.
• Use consumer insights and analytics to identify opportunities, inform product development, and improve digital care utilization.
• Advance content intelligence to improve findability, personalization, and performance across digital experiences including SEO, GEO, and AEO use cases.
• Establish operating models and governance aligning product, content, access, clinical, marketing, legal, compliance, analytics, and technology partners.
• Maximize cross-functional team engagement to improve knowledge graph maturity and data-driven decision making.
