Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior sales/solutions lead for the Connected Plants and Industry 4.0 business unit in North America. You will drive MES, OT modernization and smart manufacturing propositions across multiple industries, shaping proposals and building strong client relationships.

The role requires 13+ years of experience in solution-based sales, with a focus on advisory services, CX-level articulation, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, pre-sales, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 13+ years of experience in shaping proposals and driving solution-based sales in manufacturing.
• Experience leading large bids in plant/manufacturing services with CX-level advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Connected Plants BD for industries such as CPG, HiTech, Auto, IMC, Chemical, Aero, Pharma & Medical Devices, Energy and Resources, Steel.
• Analyze customer requirements (RFI/RFP) to identify best-fit innovative solutions.
• Oversee large transformational engagements and address delivery challenges.
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to architect comprehensive client solutions.
• Coordinate with external partners to define product leverage for client needs.
• Develop sales/pre-sales pitches and win high-quality proposals with strong brand messaging in Industry 4.0/Connected Plants.
• Position the unit and services through Analysts, Business Partners, Product Vendors, and events.
• Lead delivery engagements for client projects and drive awareness through roadshows and thought leadership.
