Job summary

Deluxe Corporation is seeking a Director of Compensation to lead the design, governance, and administration of global compensation programs. You will partner with senior leadership, Legal, and Finance to ensure market-competitive, compliant, and performance-driven compensation strategies, including executive pay, Board disclosures, and proxy-related governance.

You will oversee base pay, short- and long-term incentives, and compensation governance, collaborating with the Compensation Committee

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or Business Administration.
Master’s degree in HR, Finance or Business Administration is preferred.
7–10 years of experience in broad-based executive and board compensation.

Responsibilities

Lead design, governance, and administration of executive compensation programs for senior leaders and executives.
Partner with Legal, Finance and external consultants on executive compensation strategy and disclosures.
Manage annual executive compensation review processes, including base salary and incentive awards.
Support Compensation Committee and Board activities, including materials and regulatory reporting.
Oversee base pay, short- and long-term incentive programs; ensure market-competitive structures.
