Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations and agency best practices. The role partners with senior leadership to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and support growth across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations. A remote-first stance is noted, with occasional on-site needs per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with division and regional leaders.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive initiatives.
