Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, drive standardization and scalable processes, and partner with regional leadership to elevate service and profitability. This role influences workflow design, workforce planning, and M&A integration across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership at a large broker/agency, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC strongly preferred, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategies with leadership to strengthen operations.
• Identify and implement scalable workflows to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Standardize processes and promote best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and alignment with goals.
• Support M&A integration initiatives through integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
