Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, driving workflow standardization and scalable processes. This role partners with divisional leadership to optimize client service and profitability across the brokerage.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, with CPCU/CIC designation strongly preferred, and bring 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a large agency environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

• Workflow Standardization: Promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyze issues and implement corrective actions.
• Workforce Planning: Develop capacity plans to support growth and excellence.
• M&A Integration Support: Assist with integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: Promote use of EPIC and reporting tools.
• Performance Analysis: Use metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Change Leadership: Drive adoption of new processes and practices.
