Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations and agency performance. The role partners with senior leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive growth across the brokerage.

A strong background in commercial lines, M&A integration, and operational transformation is required. The position offers remote work with potential hybrid onsite needs and emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering superior client service.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in operations, workflows, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions and integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to optimize resources and goals.
• Provide national expertise on Commercial P&C operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Engage producers and operations to drive adoption of new processes.
