Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to drive operational leadership across the organization. This role is fully remote with preference for Central Time Zone alignment and requires a licensed CPCU/CIC, 5–7+ years in large brokerage operations, and expertise in EPIC workflows.

The position partners with senior leaders to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and support M&A initiatives while delivering exceptional client service and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership within a large brokerage or agency.
• Active P&C license; CPCU/CIC designation strongly preferred.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process improvement.
• Expertise in commercial P&C agency operations and servicing models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional and Regional Leadership to strengthen operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and client outcomes.
• Establish standard workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and planning.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and EPIC systems.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and workflow alignment.
• Build strong partnerships with producers and leadership to drive adoption of initiatives.
