Role Summary

The Director, Client Acquisition is responsible for revenue growth through developing trusted client relationships, contributing to P&L, and closing new business within target regions. This leadership role involves managing a team of sales professionals focused on promoting ENGIE Group's sustainability and resource solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team to meet individual and collective sales quotas.
  2. Understand and communicate the value of ENGIE Impact's offerings effectively.
  3. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including detailed 12-month and 30/60/90-day activities.
  4. Report on sales pipeline, forecast, and performance metrics; develop mitigation strategies as needed.
  5. Engage with executive leadership and develop strategic account growth and retention plans.
  6. Lead contract negotiations and develop cross-functional strategies for account development.
  7. Manage quarterly business reviews and collaborate across departments for delivering value.
  8. Establish new business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
  9. Enhance long-term client relationships for cross-selling and account support.
First Six Months Goals
  • Learn the business, develop understanding of client experience, and implement foundational operating rhythms.
  • Build relationships with leadership and identify quick wins.
Long-Term Objectives
  • Develop value creation strategies and lead execution of territory plans.
  • Continuously re-evaluate sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 15+ years of sales experience, including high-value portfolios and energy/sustainability services.
  • Experience with solution selling and C-level engagement.
  • Knowledge of resource services and renewable energy solutions.

  • Results-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
