Role Summary

The Director, Client Acquisition is responsible for revenue growth in new target accounts, building trusted client relationships, contributing to P&L, and promoting strategic initiatives aligned with ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Business Unit solutions. Leading a sales team, this role focuses on revenue generation and account development within target regions.

Responsibilities
  1. Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team to meet quotas and foster a sales-focused culture.
  2. Understand and communicate ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Group offerings to convey value effectively.
  3. Attract, hire, and retain top sales talent; coach and manage performance.
  4. Set sales strategy and execution plans for revenue growth, leveraging internal and external collaboration.
  5. Develop detailed 12-month sales plans with specific activities and goals.
  6. Report on sales pipeline, forecast, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
  7. Forecast key metrics and manage team performance against sales quotas.
  8. Participate in compensation planning and coordinate with HR and business partners.
  9. Build relationships with client stakeholders, including C-suite, for account expansion.
  10. Negotiate contracts and develop account growth strategies.
  11. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and collaborate across teams for service delivery.
  12. Establish new business opportunities through networking and qualification.
  13. Understand client business for cross-selling and account support.
  14. Provide accurate sales forecasts and develop case studies and product input.
First Six Months Goals
  • Learn the business, develop understanding of client experience, and implement foundational processes.
  • Establish metrics and relationships with leadership.
  • Identify quick wins and develop long-term strategies for value creation.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 15+ years of sales experience with multi-million dollar portfolios.
  • 7+ years in energy, sustainability, high tech, or BPO services to multi-site clients.
  • Proven success in solution and C-level selling, with domain expertise in relevant customer segments.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic business development and operational leadership skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Additional Information
