Role Summary:
The Director, Client Acquisition is accountable for revenue generation and growth for new target accounts. This role focuses on building long-term client value through developing trusted relationships, contributing to the P&L, and closing new business within target regions, aligning ENGIE Impact solutions with client needs. The role leads a team of sales professionals responsible for revenue growth through sustainability and resource solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team to meet individual and team sales quotas.
- Understand and communicate ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Group capabilities and portfolio of offerings effectively.
- Set strategy and execution plans for revenue development, leveraging sales territory plans and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop detailed 12-month sales plans with specific activities and objectives.
- Report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
- Forecast key metrics, manage team performance, and ensure attainment of sales targets.
- Participate in annual compensation planning and coordinate with HR and business partners.
- Develop account penetration strategies, nurture client relationships, and lead contract negotiations.
- Execute quarterly business reviews and develop strategies for account growth and retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues and centers of excellence to deliver competitive services.
- Establish new business opportunities through networking and qualifying techniques.
- Increase contact levels within client organizations for cross-selling and account support.
- Provide reliable sales forecasting and contribute to product and service development input.
First Six Months Goals:
- Learn the business, develop understanding of client experience and industry environment.
- Implement foundational operating rhythm and KPIs.
- Build relationships with leadership and identify quick wins.
Long-term Objectives:
- Develop and execute value creation strategies.
- Lead territory plan execution and re-evaluate sales strategies regularly.
Success Factors:
- Partner effectively across functions, leverage data for decision-making, and execute sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, or related field.
- 15+ years of sales experience with large portfolios.
- 7+ years in energy, sustainability, or high-tech services for multi-site clients.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and solution selling, including at the C-level.
- Expertise in customer segments like Retail, Industrial, Hospitality, etc., and knowledge of resource services.

- Results-oriented with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
