Job Description
Director, Client Acquisition

Seeking a strong sales leader at the director level with over 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. This is a permanent, full-time position based remotely across various states in the United States.

Role Summary:

The Director, Client Acquisition is accountable for revenue growth by developing trusted client relationships, contributing to P&L, and closing new business in target regions. This role leads a sales team responsible for promoting ENGIE Impact's sustainability and resource solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on achieving sales quotas.
  • Understand and communicate the value of ENGIE Impact's offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, including detailed 12-month plans and quarterly reviews.
  • Forecast sales activities, manage pipeline, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and develop account growth strategies.
  • Build relationships with C-Suite and decision-makers within client organizations.
First Six Months Goals:
  • Learn the business, develop relationships, and establish performance metrics.
Long-Term Objectives:
  • Create repeatable processes and long-term client value.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 15+ years of sales experience, with 7+ in energy or sustainability services.
  • Experience in solution and C-level selling, with domain expertise in relevant customer segments.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strategic business development, operational leadership, results orientation, and detailed-oriented approach.
