GRAEF is seeking a Director of Civil Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for its Civil Engineering Technical Community. You will drive technical excellence, quality, collaboration, and staff development while remaining engaged in project work.

The role reports to the CTO and focuses on standards, strategy, and client-facing leadership across multiple offices. A PE license and 12+ years of civil engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 12 years of civil engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical and leadership experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and implementation of firmwide technical standards and quality processes across the Civil Engineering Technical Community.
• Promote collaboration and share resources across offices to strengthen technical capabilities.
• Support onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning to develop future leaders in civil engineering.
• Shape technical strategy, recruiting, business planning, and client relationships; guide investment in emerging technologies.
• Remain engaged in project work, providing leadership, design oversight, risk management, and quality reviews.
