GRAEF is seeking a Director of Civil Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for its Civil Engineering Technical Community. You will drive technical excellence, quality, collaboration across offices, and staff development while remaining engaged in project work and client pursuits.

You will lead standards, mentor future leaders, and partner with firm leadership on strategy and investments in emerging technologies to strengthen GRAEF's civil engineering practice.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Proven leadership and staff development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of firmwide technical standards and quality processes across Civil Engineering.
• Foster collaboration across offices and connect projects with engineering expertise.
• Develop people through onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Shape technical strategy, innovation, and business development within the civil engineering practice.
• Remain engaged in projects, provide technical oversight and risk management.
