Job summary

GRAEF, a leading civil engineering firm, seeks a Director of Civil Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for our Civil Engineering Technical Community. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will advance technical excellence, strengthen quality, promote collaboration across offices, and develop the next generation of leaders.

You will remain engaged in project work, guide complex projects, support client relationships, and help drive investment in new technologies shaping the future

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 12 years of civil engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of firmwide technical standards.
• Promote collaboration across offices and projects.
• Develop the next generation of civil engineering leaders.
• Shape technical strategy, recruiting, and business planning.
• Remain engaged in project leadership, design, and risk management.
