Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's CFO Services team seeks a senior professional to deliver financial due diligence, restructuring and advisory services for private equity portfolio companies in the Atlanta area. This role focuses on creating transparent key drivers, improving cash flow and EBITDA through hands-on engagement across finance and operations.

You will lead hypothesis development, project management and senior stakeholder collaboration, applying advanced financial modeling and analytics to drive

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance or economics.
• Over 12 years experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA or Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with client to facilitate information gathering.
• Guide client interviews and ensure data is complete and pursued.
• Define analyses to prove or disprove assumptions and ensure timely execution.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses.
• Lead project components and manage client expectations.
• Develop actionable plans and lead workstreams independently.
• Design cash generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements.
• Interact with senior management and obtain buy‑in from board members on actionable plans.
• Complete proficiency in financial modeling and statements analysis.
