Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an experienced finance advisory professional for its CFO Services practice in the United States. The role focuses on liquidity optimization, strategic analytics, and value-creating transformations for PE-backed portfolio companies.

You will lead engagements, develop actionable plans, supervise teams, and drive data-driven decisions to improve cash generation, EBITDA, and overall financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university with concentration in accounting/finance preferred but not required.
• Over 12 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Proficient in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hypothesis/scope development with clients and define required analyses.
• Guide client interviews and ensure data is complete, accurate and timely.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses and drive project plans.
• Design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements, optimizing org structure.
• Anticipate risks, manage client expectations, and coordinate with senior management.
